At Absolute Dental we consider ourselves to be at the forefront of providing the very highest standards of cross infection control and ensuring patient safety is our highest priority. Our dedicated, state of the art sterilisation room is equipped with a vacuum autoclave and surgical washer disinfector. With a glazed front it is easily visible to our clients and we are proud to be giving prominence to customer protection.
Many of the guidelines we follow are produced by The British Dental Association and our health and safety policies are of the highest standard.
Our dental water units are subject to rigorous regular testing to ensure the quality of the water. A non-toxic disinfectant called Alpron is used to ensure the safety of the independent bottled water supply to each dental chair.
We use as many disposable items as possible in all treatments. All other items are decontaminated following a strict cross infection control policy ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
We also make certain that all our equipment is regularly and properly maintained. All equipment in the practice holds current safety certificates. The practice has an annual test of all fire extinguishers and monthly fire drills. We carry out risk assessments regularly, the results of which are reviewed regularly and discussed with the team.
We invite you to read our downloadable policies, and if you have any questions please ask any member of the Absolute team.
