Emma has been in the dental profession for over 25 years and worked in a variety of different roles. She became a Practice Manager whilst in the Royal Air Force in 1990. Having moved to Devon in 2001, Emma and has been instrumental in changing a small practice into a thriving multi award-winning flagship for the profession; she was awarded the British Dental Practice Managers’ Practice Manager of the Year Award in 2003 and The Probe Dental Awards’ Practice Manager of the Year Award in 2006.
In 2006 based on her wealth of experience in the industry Emma went on to formulate her own vision of how best to organise a practice team to provide enviable customer service and care of the highest quality and now provides a training consultancy for a variety of dental teams including private, mixed,corporate and cosmetic practices.
Emma’s enthusiasm for her profession combined with her skill as a manager has enabled her to provide bespoke training for individual teams with consistently proven results. She has an in depth understanding of the management side of the profession as well as the needs of the teams. The results from her training days speak for themselves with an increase in team confidence, polished systems, and improved communication to patients.
Emma regularly contributes articles to a number of dental magazines, and has lectured and been a speaker throughout the UK, including most recently at the Dentistry Show, Private Dentistry Live and 2011 Practice Managers Conference. She Emma acts as a consultant for Practice Plan and has been delivering a number of customer service focused workshops and practice visits since 2012
