Maeva Farida Smith

Farida Smith also known as (Maeva)was born in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania. She came to live in the UK in 2001, eventually becoming a UK citizen. Farida has two children, a 24-year-old daughter, a 22-year-old son, and a new family member Ayla a 2-year-old cavapoochon.

Given her background in Africa and deep-rooted passion for making a difference, Farida took the opportunity when her then-husband set up a business in Ghana, to do voluntary work as the  Fundraising Director for a charitable foundation in Accra. She enlisted the support as patron of the charity, her neighbour, the former World Cup-winning footballer, and Chelsea  captain, Marcel Desailly. The charity aimed to rescue children from the streets and bring them back to the classroom. Through her dedicated efforts, she successfully changed the lives of over 100 children from begging on the streets to having meaningful futures in society.

Farida’s background in customer service overseas and in the UK has equipped her with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of customer needs, and the ability to provide exceptional service. Her work in healthcare, taking care of autistic adults, demonstrates her compassion and empathy, qualities that are essential in healthcare facilities where patients and visitors require a welcoming and supportive environment.  Farida’s history of working with people and her passion for making a difference in their lives perfectly aligns with the receptionist’s responsibility to create a positive and helpful experience for anyone who walks through the door.
