Dr Jeni Thomas

Jeni graduated from The University of Manchester in 2016 and then made her way back home to Cardiff to further hone her dental skills. Jeni is not a fan of being in the dental chair herself and uses this to help her nervous patients. Providing pain-free treatment is her forte and something she always works towards, as well as a calm non, rushed approach.

Jeni has spent significant time providing orthodontic treatments. She is a platinum provider for Invisalign® and has a vast knowledge of aligning teeth using clear removable aligners as well as more conventional braces. In 2021, she delivered a lecture at the International Dental Conference & Exhibition about teeth straightening with clear aligners. She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics for General Practice, which primarily focuses on fixed braces.

She has also completed a two-year-long postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry with the pre-eminent cosmetic dentist Professor Tipton in London. She is passionate about photography and often integrates this into her dentistry to help design a patient’s ideal smile. She also enjoys planning and designing a patient’s individual smile using the latest digital software and techniques.

Outside of dentistry, Jeni loves beach walks with their boxer dog, Roxanne or Rockstar, as she is often called. She likes to keep fit by lifting weights in the gym and spending time with family and friends. In the past, before requiring two knee surgeries, she was a downhill ski racer and travelled all across Europe, competing in some of the world championships.
