To help us manage our appointment diary and offer appointments to other patients, we kindly ask that you provide the following notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Routine dental appointments: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments missed without notice, may incur a fee of £37.50 per 15 minutes of clinical time reserved.
Implant dentistry, cosmetic treatment and other complex or extended appointments: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments missed without notice, may incur a fee of £50 per 15 minutes of clinical time reserved, including preparation time required for surgery.
These charges reflect the clinical time, resources and preparation reserved specifically for your appointment, as well as the difficulty of offering this time to another patient at short notice.
Where we are able to successfully reallocate your appointment to another patient, we will take this into consideration when applying any cancellation charge.
We appreciate that unexpected circumstances can sometimes arise. If you are unable to attend an appointment, please contact the practice as soon as possible and we will always do our best to help.
